Housing Trays and Arms for Underwater Photography

Ikelite Housings
You will need to keep the Ikelite tray that comes with your housing. If your tray does not have handles, then our handles can be easily used:

AC-H regular handle with ball, or AC-HQD quick disconnect handle with ball
Also, the AD-3816 base ball can be used in place of a handle

If your Ikelite tray has handles on it, you will need to remove the knob on the top of the handles. You will find a bolt sticking up. You would then mount our
AD-3816 to that bolt as your base adapter.

If your Ikelite tray has the new SLR handles with a push button, our BA-IK will snap into that handle.

For the new Ikelite DSLR housing, use AD-1420-IK as the ball for the threaded hole in the middle of the housing, this will allow you to add a spotting light. (pictured on the universal base page)

Sea & Sea, Nexus, Aquatica, Nauticam Housings

All these housings have built in handles with screw holes in the top of them for attaching Ultralight base adapters.

Sea & Sea handles may come with a “T” plate already attached to the top of the handle. You can slide a BA-TG over this “T” plate. If your handles do not have a “T” plate or you do not want to use it, there are 3 ways to mount base adapters to the handles:

BA-AQW - Fixed ball screws directly onto the handle
BA-DB a dovetail shoe into which you would then slide a
BA-DT (straight dovetail) or
BA-DB a dovetail shoe into which you would then slide a
BA-AD (angled dovetail)

Nexus and Aquavision handles do not come with a base plate attached to it, so you can pick from the following three choices:

BA-AQW - Fixed ball screws directly onto the handle
BA-DB - a dovetail shoe into which you would slide a BA-DT (straight dovetail)
BA-DB - a dovetail shoe into which you would slide a BA-AD (angled dovetail)

***For all base adapters, it is important to let your dealer know what you will be attaching it to so they can send the appropriate screws with it. Aquavision uses a US thread size (1/4-20) and Nexus and Sea & Sea,
and Nauticam use a metric screws (5mm).

Subal Housings We make a tray that will fit the bottom of your Subal housing - TR-SBLD. You can then add one or two handles, quick disconnect handles or base adapter AD-3816 to one or both sides of this tray. You can mount your strobes on top of the housing using a number of base adapters specifically designed for Subal.		Base adapters for Subal housings (left to right)
BA-SU - Subal dovetail that would then take a BA-DT, straight dove tail, or a BA-AD, angled dovetail. BA-SUD - Double subal dovetail. There is room for two base adapters in this dovetail, BA-DT or BA-AD. This would give you a base for an arm and a base for a spotting light, or an Ikelite flash meter, or a base for two strobe arms on one side. BA-SV - Ball adapter that mounts directly to the top of the housing BA-SA - Angled ball adapter that mounts directly to the top of the housing BA-SP - Replacement plate for center of Subal housings		Subal Tray with a handle on the left and a AD-3816 base adapter on the right BA-SP
Subal Pivots Pivots fit the 8008, N90, F4, Canon Elan housings only. These housings do not have handles like the newer housings, F5 or N100. The Subal pivots will not fit the later housings with handles.

You will need to remove these and replace with any of the following combinations of base adapters: (The BA-TG will not fit on the plate that comes with the housing) BA-AQW - Fixed ball screws directly onto the top of the housing BA-DB a dovetail shoe into which you would then slide a BA-DT (straight dovetail) BA-DB a dovetail shoe into which you would then slide a BA-AD (straight dovetail)

		FOR SEA CAM AND SUBAL HOUSINGS: If you would prefer one of our handles on a Sea Cam or Subal housing, you can remove the factory one and replace with this bracket and our handle on one or both sides. TR-SC bracket to attach to housing then add one of Ultralights handles, the handle is adjustable right to left to accomodate different hand sizes.
