Our camera accessories have a lifetime warranty and are designed to withstand the harshest environments both above and below the water. Ultralight products are manufactured from 6061 T6 aircraft-grade aluminum with Type III anodizing and we use 316 stainless steel for all hardware.

Our History

Ultralight started back in 1995, as the brainchild of Terry Schuller and Dave Reid. They launched the business from their house in Oxnard, CA, and the company was originally known for producing underwater camera arms, clamps, trays, and strobe adapters. In 2005, the company’s products grew in popularity with cinematographers, as industry professionals recognized the caliber of Ultralight’s camera accessories.

Today, Ultralight stays true to its roots of producing American-made camera solutions for recreational divers and professional cinematographers. The company has an international customer base and brand ambassadors that test and refine Ultralight’s products. Current owner and president Ken Kollwitz continues to modernize the brand and expand its product lineup to give customers the best of the best camera accessories for work or play.
